As the title says my 9.5kw battery only charges to 50% during the night (2-5am) ev rate. Have it set on the app to charge to 100% but never passes 50%. Not a major issue during summer months but would still like the option to send back excess back to grid before peak solar hours. Have a heat pump so will definitely want it charging to 100% during winter months

Two possibilities I can think of - the charging rate has been reduced for some reason, which means that it doesn't have time to get to 100% in 3 hours.
The other possibility is that there are (at least) two different underlying registers which set the upper charge limit, depending on model and firmware version. Probably a consequence of when they added multiple charging slots.
if you look the remote-control page on the portal, at the top there's an AC charge limit, but then if you scroll down near the bottom, there are up to 10 charging times, each with their own limit.

Thanks so much. Checked the Web portal instead of the app and charge 1 setting had state of ac charge limit set at 50% even though on the app it is set to 100%

You’re not the first person that has reported this. Always worth looking at the portal settings which are more detailed than you can see in the app
