After spending a bit of time looking at the hikes in energy bills, my current go tariff vs this Septembers (pre October rise) then considering the October rise even with all my solar and batteries my average bill is going to jump a lot. Example December 2021 I used 505kw from the grid, my worst month. Last year worked out £101, this year it will be £189 (if usage is identical), December 2023 will be £265 unless something changes. I have not even factored in the new EV.
So GivEnergy, how about a small wind turbine that can sit on top of a house? Something than can generate 200w - 500w+ is that possible? If not the turbine itself how about the inverter for it that can integrate with the rest of the GE eco system?
I am just thinking that home wind generation is the next logical step. Something small that doesn't need planning permission but takes up the back ground device usage.
