Discrepancy - load power between portal and app

I think I saw this being asked before

is this a bug?

Midlands_Solar the app has a feature "show calculated load" which fudges the consumption to make the numbers add up. (I guess you can justify that as "incorporate losses into the consumption figure".) I run with that turned off

I think you get to it from the gears icon to the top-right of the animation.
