Anyone resolved preference for grid use for load after timed export finished?

I have solar plus battery. When I set "Timed Export" with a "Discharge To" 20%, the export works fine. However after the the export period, the controller imports from grid for house load and doesn't use the remaining battery power for house load.
I see a number of similar comments over last few months, but has anyone resolved it, preferably without "geek-level" modifications?

Depends on the inverter I think. My gen 1 on the so called fast response software exports and keeps eco on. It didn’t before the new software

drewpy One thing to watch out for is that the UI is misleading: while it includes a discharge limit in the timed-export box, that's actually the master battery reserve setting. More recent inverters do have a per-discharge-limit, but that's hidden away and accessible only through remote-control page or API.

That said, even once you've set the correct limit, it will stop discharging if it hits that limit before the end of the timed period. Which may not be what you want.

We export 2 hours every evening and occasionally run out between 10&11 so it then charges to 100% at 23.30. Probably happens once a month. It actually did this last night as the sun had failed and we cooked before the export time so it started at 80% rather than a more normal 95% plus. Haven’t had any SOC or other issues since having the newer software - didn’t have them before though either!
