Firmware - upgrade or not?

I have a Gen1 inverter Hy5.0 and Gen1 3 x 8.2kw batteries
I'm not experiencing any problems afaik.

I see there are firmware upgrades available and am wondering whether to do them or avoid (on basis if it ain't broke.. don't fix it!)

Having previously had problems with upgrades I'm a little reluctant but at the same time aware that sometimes it is necessary or highly recommended at the least.

any comments? are there particular improvements in later versions?

I upgraded a week or so ago with no problems & it has improved the operation on my 2 x 9.5kWh batteries. That said not everyone has had the same experience.

I upgraded to 3017 a couple of weeks back, it took several attempts to complete successfully, but no issues have arisen

Updated this morning. Went through without an issue. Fingers crossed it will function as it should. Good luck.

I'm in the same boat. I expect I'll need to go and do it manually again too.

I bit the bullet and ran the upgrade. Ran smoothly - taking around 20 mins for all 3 batteries.
No signs of any problems.
