Eco mode not working

I have a Gen 1 Hybrid 3.6 inverter and recently Eco mode has stopped working. Even if the battery has charge it does not send power to the house when there is demand for it. If I set timed discharge then the house does get power from the battery but obviously just at a set rate, not dynamically.
I've tried resetting to defaults, retarting the inverter both through the portal and physically switching it off and on again (bit of a palaver getting all the switches thrown in the right order). All to no avail.
I recently changed the battery firmware to 3017 but it was a couple of days after this before it started playing up so I can't say that was a factor. The inverter firmware is D0.450-A0.451.

Has anyone else experienced this behaviour and, if so, was there a fix?
Is there anything else I can look at to help diagnose the fault?

pete8O I've tried resetting to defaults

I don't fully trust that... Could you try explicitly turning eco mode off then on again. There have been instances where a reset-to-defaults hadn't worked, but then forcing eco to be on fixed things. As if the reset only resets the settings that it thinks have changed

I’ve had this. Battery charged to 98%;gave voltages of 58V, and then basically stopped supply to the house when needed. Only an inverter reset got it discharging again

Long story short, had 6 conversations with support and problem persisted. Got a firmware reset to 3015 and the problem carried on.

I had a thought that issue may be related to summer use as the battery never gets to empty. So, as a last resort, I exported the battery to empty (4%) and charged it up to full.

As of this morning I’ve had no issues. Charges to 100%, no over voltages, and runs in Eco

Early days but it’s worked thus far

It's always nice to know it's not just me. Thanks, all helpful information.
I think I've tried every permutation and combination (the old hokey-cokey approach) but I'll try those suggestions specifically.
I'm on Octopus flex so I'll charge up to full during the cheap slot overnight, it'll probably have discharged down to 4% by then anyway.

Try switching off all charge and discharge settings in the portal, not using the settings tab, but the cog icon under the date , doing one at a time, then checking in the log at the bottom that the changes have taken place. Then if Eco mode is on, switch it off and check in the log, then switch it on again and check the log.
I don't know if you've tried, but maybe just try switching the battery off, holding the black button for 10 seconds. Wait 30 seconds while it's off, then switch it back on again with a short press of the button.
If all else fails try support.

pete8O I don't think this will help, since it's possible firmware-specific, but... My gen-3 hybrid has multiple discharge slots, each with a discharge limit. I recently discovered that if a slot has a configured time (ie end time different from start time), then the discharge limit is active even if the timed-export flag is clear. This manifested as the battery not discharging when the SoC was lower than this discharge limit.

Just to conclude this thread, I tried all suggestions but to no avail. However an email to support got an almost instantaneous response and it's all sorted now. Looking at the log it appears some registers in the inverter needed to be coaxed to the right values and this was done remotely.

For the technically curious, the first register read showed that the 'CT Direction' register was responding Unknown and it was changed to 'Positive'. I've no idea how it got to be the wrong value and, since Eco is up and running, not going to worry about that at all.

So top marks for service from GivEnergy for dealing with this promptly.

The CT Direction is definitely something to watch out for, the direction setting on mine got reversed during a firmware update which completely bricked the system!
