I’m currently on an Agile tariff and manually choose the cheapest time slot each day to charge my AIO. What are your experiences with smart automation for this tariff? Which solutions have worked best for you, or are there any third-party options you’d suggest?
Octopus Agile Smart Tariffs Automation opinions
Personally I follow a manual approach. I don't think anything can really automate it.
Wonder watt is one to look at as a subscription service but you still need to set the rules of when to charge and discharge. You also have to really bear in mind the cost and if it will actually save you any money.
There is another option Predbat which requires you setting up a server and other folk who use this approach can point you in the right direction. Again bear in mind the cost and what you would have to save to justify the expense and personal time investment.
I think I read somewhere that GE have / will be offering better agile support? On the dashboard, you can now add a beta smart-tariff card - perhaps that's it ?
I started a similar thread a few days ago...

Have a look at My Energy Optimiser. It's set and forget and has worked brilliantly for me since January. I'm on Agile and Fixed export with 19kWh of batteries and since January I've imported 7200kWh at an average price of 14p/kWh. (I also have 24 solar panels which have generated 6100kWh so far this year). I have an ASHP and an EV.

MrBonks Our Agile integration makes this really easy.

You can override slots by clicking/tapping to select or deselect additional charge slots and save.
