Hi, I have a gen 1 system, Giv-HY5.0 inverter and a Giv-Bat-ECO-2.6. The max input/output on the inverter is 2500w and on the battery it is 1350w.
I am going to add a 8kWh and a 5kWh to the system which also has a max input/output of 2500w. I am wondering if I put the 2.6kWh battery last on the loop will everything be maxed at 1350w or will the other batteries work at 2500w?

bignelly page 30 of the GivEnergy installers guide https://kb.givenergy.cloud/article.php?id=76 implies that the lower battery limit is only if you have a 2.6 battery on its own
The way I read it, all the batteries will charge & discharge at the 2.6 of the gen 1 inverter

The other question, if I ave multiple Gen 1 batteries, is the max distance from the inverter 5m? that is what it seems to suggest on page 32 but then it says 5m(Single battery)
Does that mean only 1 battery can be 5m away? I would like to move the batteries away from the inverter because I don't have space and that will allow me to connect 4 batteries close together but potentially circa 4m from inverter
bignelly Its not 100% clear, I would read it as a maximum of 5m of a battery from the inverter and then 2m between batteries.
Might be best to phone GivEnergy tomorrow to ask them for confirmation of what you are proposing to do and whether it would work OK.
