I think Axle Energy pay 50p per kWh exported, it's a restively sunny day today, so the battery will be topped up quickly, and the inverter continue to export under the rather good EON SEG I have
Nothing on mine, but I assume it may be area specific.
Curious as the agile import prices are not that high at the moment, only 20p or so, and then we’ve got a 2 hour powerup event in the East from 13:30-15:30

The wording sounded it like it was responding to an emergency, whereas agile is based on planned pricing in advance.
I'd be tempted to switch to GivBack if it's something they can do at short notice. I wonder if Intelligent Flux users saw increased discharge at the time?
I believe for Axle the trigger is 49.7Hz. There's nothing obvious on a national level but if you look at your data you may see locally the system is strained in your area hence it firing. (Although its done in quite large geographical chunks so equally it may not show anything if you're away from the ('event')

How strange, in the past we’ve been pretty closely aligned on getting power up events at the same time. It is getting quite windy today so I figured that was why it was happening. 🤷♂️
hoggy there was a grid frequency drop for me this morning which maybe was what triggered the Axle event, but it was only for a few moments and then national grid did whatever and its back to normal.
There was a failure of the GB to Norway interconnect around this time so maybe that was the cause?

Were you exporting anyway? But just excess solar, perhaps.
Note really see a drop in frequency or voltage during the GivAxle event discharge either, unless I'm looking in the wring place?

I can see 49.62 as the lowest recorded frequency this morning, but as my setup only records the data every 15 seconds it could have been lower. Seems to match the graph above.
Looks like it was within statutory limits but outside of operational limits.
Didn't see any export response on my IOF system.

We only got our battery a couple of months ago, and looking at this now it seems they (Axle) aren't taking on more participants for GivBack currently?
NorfolkMustard Axle have probably paused sign-ups for the summer as Octopus did and will resume in the winter when the shape of the future DFS service is known.

NorfolkMustard I emailed Axle this week to ask about GivBack / DFS this winter, given I wasn’t eligible for the “all year long” in my area following participating in GivBack last winter.
Their response:
DFS isn't yet open for enrolment - we'll let you know when this changes. The good news is that everyone will be eligible for DFS, regardless of the area of the grid that they are connected to.
I think Axle are waiting for NESO to confirm how it will run, who are in turn waiting for Ofgem to approve the proposed changes for this winter.

Note that there are no tests planned for this year, so ability to earn maybe reduced!
Only if something is needed for real, or perhaps if a supplier decides to run their own initiatives (like octopus) to prove what could be possible if things worked differently in the UK.
TX200 49.59 Hz was the lowest the frequency got to when the IC failed. So my HA data wasn’t far off!
I've added the Static Firm Frequency Response (SFFR) to Terravolt now. Spits out results of the auction for the day and also the units / plants if you dig in deeper under the "Grid Stability / Inertia" drop down.
I've been watching this the last few days and interestingly Axle doesn't always win its bidding (and its normally only around 1MW they offer) so presumably on a day like today (where they didn't win) they would not discharge inverters if the grid was stressed. (FYI their plant IDs start AXSFFR...)
