Anyone know what this is?
Gen 1 5 hybrid inverter
CHGDIS Module Temperature Fault

Relates to battery charger temperature in inverter I believe - presumably in your logs you'll find that very high. Not normally a good sign.

I know it technically falls under BMS faults but given the charger is in the inverter I'd look there first (given BMS overtemp is a separate fault code)
Thanks Hoggy....I'll have a look
Tried a soft restart and a full hard restart. No joy, now showing a red fault light on the inverter. Looks like the job is knackered. ðŸ˜

Not the news you likely wanted going into winter. Did the portal offer up any clues as to if it was a slow temp rise or just a sudden temperature spike? (Might suggest a fighting chance of it cooling down and at least leaving you with PV if you turn battery off - although if it did this a while ago it's probably done for)
It threw the error at about 18:30. I've powered it down for 20 minutes and restarted it. Still faulting.
I've isolated the batteries just in case it biggers them up too.
Best get the installer back!
Zakalwe It’ll almost certainly be a warranty replacement. Suggest you call givenergy support in parallel to your installer
Yeah...looks like this will be the case. Now waiting on a response from GivEnergy 2nd line team.
