Curious to find out how others are getting on with their battery degradation now there’s a few years of good use in these batteries. I do about 400 cycles a year or just over 1 a day, and have seen. 6% drop in capacity after 600 cycles to an overall capacity compared to the maximum of 94%. Seems quite high so hopefully it plateaus as at that rate it will reach the warranty at 70% in less than 7 years! Anyone who has their own data, I’m very interested!

I've done 696 cycles. How are you measuring your degradation, so that I can compare.
This is mine for my 4x 9.5’s;
The two on the left are “new” (recent replacements). The one on the top RHS is 16 months old at 192Ah. The one on the bottom right is about 6 months old at 197Ah.
“Design” capacity is 186. Although I think they all start at 200Ah in reality.
So my oldest one has lost 4% over 16 months (from the original 200Ah) at 793 cycles (1.33 cycles per day). Charged fully overnight and emptied by timed export every evening before the cheap rate starts.

Pete UK ahh that’s really interesting. You’re running yours exactly as I run mine with the export. I think a lot of it might just be luck of the pack as 2 of my batteries have lost effectively nothing and 2 have lost 6-7%

hoggy Crikey you might be on for a warranty claim before 10 years at that rate! What's that roughly 15% lost after 1500 cycles. Quite significant.
hoggy That does roughly follow what I'm finding so pretty good for consistency. I think from that realistically we can see 3000 ish cycles by time it hits warranty.

Having come from a rather old LFP setup previously I was hoping things had moved on a bit longevity wise but it would appear I might be wrong on this one. Warranty sliding scale thing probably means it'll not be worth bothering with by then....you win this round Givenergy!
@"hoggy"#p67044Yes especially given my batteries never get very hot (a killer for LFP) I'd expected to get 5-6000 cycles out of them before hitting 70%, but looks very similar deg to the Powerwalls NMC battery of about 2.5% a year. Bit disappointing really as it rather changes the maths! How are you calculating your degradation? I'm using GivTCP, doing a calibration and seeing the change in remaining capacity compared to design.
