Battery charge and discharge rate

Hi All, recently installed 7.5kw solar system with 9.5kw battery, gen 3 5 KW inverter and EV charger. Switched to octopus go tariff from fixed. Struggling with inverter setup in both app and portal.
All attempt to change the battery charge rate from default 3600 to 1900 (spreading the load over 5hrs of cheap tariff) fails as system resets the same to default after few seconds.
Also what is preferred companion setting with charge schedule- Eco mode or discharge schedule?
Tried setting discharge mode from 5:30- 00:30. System successfully saves the settings but immediately disables the same.
Currently Eco mode is enabled but noticed charge schedule doesn't work. So not sure what's happening in background.

Eco is fine. No need to configure timed-discharge mode for 05:30 to 00:30 since (once you get charging working) that will automatically inhibit discharge anyway.

Have a look in the activity log - at the bottom of the remote-control page on the portal (gears icon from the inverter page). If there's an external agent adjusting your sessions, it should show up there.

Indeed I can see ev charger inverter control rewriting the charge back to 3600. Do you know how do I stop this
