Can anyone help? I am away from home, checked electric use which normally runs at between 2/300 w per hour when empty to find a jump (see pic) to 7/800 about 7.30 last night so plus 500 which appears to be the inverter? Hit restart but no change.
Thoughts, please?
As the data is a snapshot every 5 mins you can catch a freezer or fridge startup surge but that should only affect 1 data point. It is worth looking at meter data to see what the running total of kWh used.

Watcher, with the Power Graph showing expected operation the rest of the time, I would suggest it is an actual load switching on.
Ideas around 500 W could be an electric towel radiator, halogen security light ?
Security lights not to blame, neighbours not stealing, no heated towel rail, no bloody idea! As Toya said it’s a mystery.
