About 3 days ago we changed back to Flux. However none of the settings are workjng. It doesn't charge batteries between 2am and 5am and didn't export the other day between 4pm and 7pm.
The data us showing cobstant 67% . Not increasing or decreasing.
Going to Tariff it states the Flux for importing but IF for exporting. For automatikn it says there is nkne on and no option to set it to anything else.
Have contacted Octopus and Givenergy and hope this can be resolved.
Any advice welcome please.

Octopus don't control your inverter on Flux. You need to set a charge period using the Givenergy app or portal for the cheap period overnight. Discharging between 1600-1900 isn't mandatory or controlled by Octopus either. If you think you have battery capacity to spare you can set a discharge slot in the app or portal.

Those wouldn't be automatic, but if you had tried to configure it to do those, it should have done them.

Constant 67% is consistent with eco flag being off. Sounds like Octopus are still controlling your system. See

No still stuck on 67% with no movement. Is there any way that the controls on app or on portal are not talking to inverter?

Yes. On IF, Octopus are controlling your system, and will cancel anything you try to do yourself. Once you are detached from them, you will be able to charge and discharge as you choose.

Lynn Check that the eco flag is on - Octopus will have kept it turned off, but you want it on to have the system covering day-to-day activity.

Yes eco is on. Everything as it should be. I have no idea what is happening. The battery still showing constant 67% in graph and on dashboard.

Lynn While it may sound odd, try turning eco off, then on again. The portal tends to show what it last sent, and it is possible for the portal and the inverter to get out of sync.

If that doesn't help, could try doing the reset-to-defaults, to put all the settings back to sensible defaults.

Will try that in a minute. Inverter is showing 'Idle'. Is that correct?

L

Apparently the inverter is offline. Why??

Now online but still constant battery at 67%. Have tried resetting and taking off eco and putting it on again.

The bottom vertical lights are not lit up on the inverter. Something is wrong but don't know what. Have emailed Givenergy and am now on hold on phone waiting for a person to answer.

Solved by installer. Battery had been disconnected maybe by elec cut. All good now thanks to great help from installer.
