For about a week now (that I’ve noticed) my GivEnergy app seems to have a mind of its own.
I have set it up for the battery to charge 2-5am on my cheap rate and to discharge 4-11pm when my rate is high and on into the evening. I also turn on Eco at this time. This used to power everything unless I put the oven on.
This was all working fine until I changed from Octopus Flux to Intelligent Flux. Immediately my energy usage went up so I changed back to Octopus Flux.
Now my app changes my settings. Eco turns itself off. Discharge turns itself off. I am constantly changing them again and again.
My battery uses itself whenever it likes and then charges during my high cost. My discharge also not working when I want so I end up using grid during high cost.
I wish I’d never changed it as it was all working perfectly before.
I’ve had my system since July 24. 6 solar panels, GivEnergy inverter and battery. Fitted by Octopus. Standard sizes????
Any ideas?
