Firmware upgrade mentions gen 1 battery but I have gen 2?

Hello

I have a gen 3 3.6kW inverter and gen 2 9.5 kWh battery, I saw today that I have available firmware updates, I've checked for updates for a while so these aren't particularly new, but it says that the generation 1 battery will be upgraded. Is it normal for it say that?

I did have a gen 2 inverter and gen 1 battery installed initially but they failed after less than a year and were changed under warranty to what I have now, if that makes any difference. I'm concerned about doing the update if it thinks it's a gen 1 battery when it's not.

AndrewWagner I had the same confusion. IIRC the only gen-2 battery is the 9.5, and the differences are on the "outside", as it were - an integrated MCB, and things like that. So as far as the firmware is concerned, gen-1 and gen-2 are the same (?)

DD Thanks, that makes some sense, as I think you are right about the 9.5 kWh being the only gen 2 battery.
