Help for newbie’s

Just a suggestion but recently there seems to be a lot of people asking pretty basic questions and frequently the same questions over and over so would it be a good/useful idea for someone really helpful and experienced to write a basic guide (no HA or other aftermarket stuff just what the app etc does). I am not volunteering as I don’t consider myself any sort of expert. It could include basic fault finding such as why isn’t the battery charging now it’s cold.
If anyone from Givenergy is reading this please feel free to volunteer to create an instruction manual…….

The wiki should be where we can point folk for the most common questions...

That and the YouTube vids produced by GivEnergy..

Something much simpler is what I meant. People don’t seem to know even the basics and most installers don’t help much. As for Giv themselves……

A wiki can have multiple paths through it. It can have high level topics which contain links to more detailed coverage.

Yeah I kind of gave up on the wiki as it was mostly me doing it. That and not getting straight answers from Giv about firmware back then (I.e the quirks with eco mode across different gens) made life hard.
If you don't own every bit of kit you soon find it hard to get to the bottom of operations.

If someone wants the keys to continue it or just lift whatever they want and make a new one feel free.
