Using a Gen3 5.0kW Inverter with a Gen2 9.5Kw Battery and I only seem to have one slot for timed discharge?
I was hoping to set up multiple windows for discharge but can't seem to find a way to do this.
Is this possible?

it is possible but you have to set the multiple slots in the givenergy portal, the app only shows slot 1
We've had a few questions like this re Gen2
I think the answer is they don't have multiple slots.
I guess there's a small chance that it is a feature that is available on Gen2 but only on beta firmware.
Depends on hardware. If it's the same hardware as Gen1 then it's a no, as there's only so much room on it for the registers.
But I'm not sure on the Gen2 options as I've never had one of those.

In the mobile App {v3.4.10.5638} there is only one slot for "Timed Discharge" but I use "Timed Export" which has 10 slots, if you then look on the web portal it actually sets the "Timed Discharge"

The descriptions are confusing as on the app it describes timed discharge as "to cover your homes electric demand at the times you specify", and timed export as 'discharge at it's max power at the times you specify'. On timed export, if you disable one slot it disables them all! (same as timed charge). Time discharge only has one time slot which seems to get ignored anyway. I've searched around for a full instruction set on using the portal 'remote' function which looks the better option, but haven't managed to find anything as yet - e.g. what does discharge priority actually do in real terms?

I think the descriptions are accurate, but perhaps only after you understand them.

Timed discharge works for me. It's implemented using the timed-pause feature: if you configure timed discharge for 4pm to 7pm, it configures a pause-discharge from 7pm through to 4pm, so that (eco) discharge is allowed only from 4pm to 7pm.
Discharge priority doesn't seem to do anything for me.

I'm not looking to export during these times, just cover the demand to make the most efficient use of the battery during peak times (in my house anyway). Would also be good to have a different setup for weekdays and weekends!

No, there's only the one pause timer.
Maybe you can use multiple charge slots to achieve what you want - if you set the charge limit to something low, then it effectively just pauses discharge without charging. Note, however, that (last time I was playing with this), it seemed to impose a lower limit of 20% - if battery was at 15% and I asked to charge to 10%, it actually seemed to charge (slowly) to 20%.
i think I had a similar experience with discharge timers - setting a high limit, like 90%, ought to inhibit discharge if battery is below that, but in practise it seemed to slowly (200W-ish) charge battery back up towards 90%.
DD Ah ok. So the idea is to leave the system on ECO and set a timed discharge - which then only allows the battery to discharge during this period, which covers home usage plus any extra to export. Got it. (I think)
