PV Showing as Zero on the App

at last a bit of sun - my P V inverter showing about 1.8kW generation but nothing showing in the App other than 1/2W which I guess is just noise.

P.S- how do add the screen shot- keeps saying something wrong

The website has gone "wonky" over the last few weeks.
I find it easiest to type the text I want and hit "post reply"
Then go back and edit the post and upload the image/screenshot and hit "post reply"
Sometimes it works, sometimes it takes 3 or 4 attempts

where are you seeing the 1.8kw generation.
have you looked on the GivEnergy portal page

Are all breakers in the on position, including DC strings from panels.
The app shows you are "away".
I think the app lags behind by a few minutes.

My Feed in Tariff meter shows I generated 7kWh today.
A C inverter panels shows apeakgeneration rate of 1.8kW .
Nothing in the App!,,

What setup do you have?

Recently added 5.2kWh battery and inverter.

The App is not seeing the PV- the battery is charging ok overnight but not sure what’s happening during the day.
2nd March I generated 7kWh that day and- see below re

There should be a CT clamp around the mains cable that comes from the solar inverter, AC side.

Could it be that wasn't installed properly or has come undone?

(There's also a CT clamp around the incoming grid tail, usually on the neutral I think?, which should be able to see import or export from/to the electricity grid).

Is there an EM115 anywhere in your consumer unit and is it glowing green?
is the breaker feeding it on?

So your existing PV inverter converts the DC off the panels into AC for the home

What type of inverter have you got with the 5.2kWh battery? Is it a hybrid, AC coupled or AIO (I guess not based on the battery size).

If this is recently installed you perhaps should go back to your installer and ask him as your first port of call

Bobby123 Does the battery charge from the solar? I'm guessing not, which I imagine is a more important detail rather than just the app not showing any pv.

You say the battery was a recent addition - has it ever charged from solar? Or did it used to work, but has now stopped for some reason.

Perhaps get in touch with your installer and complain about that - presumably that was a reason for getting the battery in the first place ?
