Hi folks,
This morning give TCP and portal is reporting all my generation as house load. I can see export to grid is happening via myenrgy app. I restarted inverter but made no difference. Gen2 5kw hybrid. I see there's new software in the portal but I haven't updated yet.
Thanks
Mick

Some strange looking log activities?

the enable meters has probably configured your CT clamp the wrong way round which is why generation is appearing as house load. Givenergy support can swap it round

Should never happen ….

michaelmcgoldrick is it showing any grid activity at all? Excess consumption can be an indication that it's failing to measure the CT clamp output for some reason, since it infers consumption from what it generates and what it sees on the grid.

im guessing this is something they have done in reaction to the latest firmware update? should i update and see if it resolves? no physical changes have been made to the system in over a year

michaelmcgoldrick it's rare for something to spontaneously change. The log entry about the commissioning change looks odd. Can you correlate the change in behaviour in the historical data with the changes in the log?

everything seemed to be working fine up to last night - even the invertor time seems to sync properly sunday morning

The Enable Meters change has effectively disabled your grid meter.

You cannot fix this. My guess is that your installer was installing a system yesterday and picked the wrong inverter. They probably wondered why it didn't work! Contact installer first if possible, then Givenergy.

Support fixed it for me - seems an engineer at my installer messed it up - probably accidently - ive dropped them an email to see whats going on.. all good again

Probably just an April Fools? 🤣

TX200 If you are referring to the installation engineer, the word April is probably redundant 🙂
