Are solar panels adaptive in some way? I've x14, 420w panels, so in theory my panels at peak generation would output 5.8kw, today the panels report to be generating 6.5kw
We've a have a hybrid car and were cooking at lunchtime, so the house load was quite high at times.
Probably a simple answer but keen to get peoples thoughts

[unknown] the 420W rating is at a specific temperature - 20 degrees, perhaps. It can be more when they're cooler, or less when they're warmer.

There's a known issue reported on the portal:
We are aware of issues with the presentation of incorrect solar data on Energy graphs on the web portal and app and are actively working on a fix.
My 12x425W panels were shown in the daily report as generating over 6kW at peak output a couple of days ago. It was definitely suspect because the graph was very "peaky", whereas the day concerned had been uninterrupted sunshine. I ran the report for that day again yesterday and the graph was much smoother, with a much more sensible peak output, so it looks like they've taken steps to fix the problem.
In summary: Unfortunately, it looks like it was a glitch in GivEnergy's software rather than a surprise PV bonus.

Yes I'd put this down to Portal anomalies with displaying the data too.
But to answer the question I have noticed my array does produce higher peaks for a brief time when the sun comes out after rain. I think the rain has cooled the panels which makes them more efficient then when the sun comes out the energy conversion is better until the panels warm up again where there is a distinct drop-off in output.
