I have exported the battery energy to the grid for just under 2 hours and I stopped the export at 32/33%, then as I ate my tea; i watched the battery drop to 3% over a 15 minute period nearly all of the cells were at 2.8/9v.
I had to do a full import for a few minutes to get the battery back up to 6%. FW3012.
Any advice?

Edit: I have checked the export data and it's reporting 4.5kwh, so from discharging from 96% for 2 hours it appears the 9.5kwh battery is holding half its charge.
The BMS data shows the battery reaching 52c in a room temp of 14c. Has it damaged itself?
The previous firmware would only allow an export of 2.6kw but the fw3012 it has now upped it to 2.88kw. I queried it at the time and support said it was fine.

Have you looked to see if you are offered an update if the firmware for the battery in the GivEnergy () Older battery firmware versions (including 3012) tended to suffer from these crashes in state of charge (SOC) which the newer version ( current version is 3020) are much better at minimising.

Marren2016 do you regularly allow the battery to visit 100% and 4%? Doing so reduces the risk of sudden adjustments in SoC.

ashenshugar37 I haven't needed to update it's fw as it's been fairly solid. I've heard bad things of new hardware, and as mine wasn't broken . . .
Regarding the SoC calibration I do it when there is negative pricing from octopus. So this year there hasn't been many of these. There's one tomorrow hence why I did an export tonight.

This morning I have checked to see if there are any fw updates and it's offering an update 3020 for my gen 1 battery. The thing is my battery is gen2 9.5kwh so I don't trust it'll work.

My sudden drops occur when the battery stack voltage drops below about 305v - it is normally 310v-320v. I don't no whether this is correlation or causation, but I don't see these drop offs when the battery is above 310v.

Just checked my battery for today and something is pulling 350w multiple times per day when nobodies home and the panels are generating 2.5kw+. It's been doing it since the fw3020 update.

Is this anything to be concerned about?

I suspect it may be 350w, but if it only lasts 3 minutes is half of nothing in terms or energy.

The fridge freezer is typically 150w. But on startup it could surge a bit I guess.
It didn't do it on fw3012. Is the newer firmware faster at responding to energy requests?

Our small freezer takes about 50w but at start up it takes a surge of 1.6kW but I assume that is for less than a second because it is just the stall current of the motor. The invert graph only occasionally shows it because it samples every 5 minutes so the chance of catching is quite low.

Here you can see it creating a 50W ripple but one has the massive peak. In practice they all will. The inverter isn't fast enough to react as it shows import instead of getting it from the battery. Does yours look like this.

Why is it pulling from the battery when the solar is exporting 2.5kw
