It is a minor update.
see the changelogs
just finished mine, took a while and was successful this time around, but i did remember to switch predbat and associated things off this time. when these things appear its like the preverbial do not press this button syndrome, 5 mins later ive pressed it even though everything is working
TheDragon (GivEnergy) it would handy to have the change log linked from the software page where it shows an update is available. (rather than having to go hunt for it). Where are the change logs ? the kb page used in the past https://kb.givenergy.cloud/article.php?id=23&oid=24 does not contain the latest info.
A sticky at top of this forum would be useful too...
[unknown] doesn't predbat know when it is upgrading? I am sure it has a flag.
TheDragon (GivEnergy) There is no information in the Change logs about this revision. Latest information is for v309
A316-D316 - 05 Apr 2025
- Add wider import limit for EU 1-255A
- Optimise PV energy when using external PV systems
- Fix Leap year bug
- Optimise Off-Grid voltage and frequency display, when overload condition triggered
- Charge Target SOC bug fix. Some users the target would be ignored
[unknown] Where do you see this on the website?
Just upgraded AIO + Gateway to this revision. It took about 20 minutes. Everything went fine, and equipment is operational just like before.
Inverter Firmware Version

Last Update Time

Battery Firmware Version
12
I upgraded from D0.613-A0.613 and Battery Firmware Version 10.
matttheotter Thanks for quoting changelog, if there's some improvement to PV energy when using external PV systems, that's good. That would affect most of us, with old solar PVs on the roof.
Just updated my AC3 to 216 - OTA update went smoothly. Took approx 20 minutes (sits on 88% for a while).
Hi All.
So, I did the firmware update and I'm running 3020 on the batteries. It didn't do a calibration so undecided to do one as I noticed the batteries weren't draining or charging equally. I'm doing the calibration slowly, full power drain and a slow charge at 1Kw. The pic shows their current charging status is still not synced l. Is this something we just have to live with or is something wrong?

I think they may come into balance after a few charge/discharge cycles

Wel, as I said a few posts back, the update seemed to "take", but the portal is still reporting the old 210 software designator, more than 24 hrs later. System is still working OK, so not too worried. Go figure eh?
Edit - has sorted itself, now showing 212 as it should.
