Hi All

I had to install a new internet router a couple of months ago and when I did I forgot all about my battery storage unit untill today, I've spoken to the kind people that installed it and they sent me here and now I'm more lost than anything on how the hell I tell my inverter the new internet details.
I have installed the GivEnergy APP on my tablet (sorry didn't know there was one only ever used the web page) on there in settings you can update WiFi details that then says you need a different app Givinstaller App on the bottom of its home screen it has a tab saying Update WiFi details which i click on it then goes to a new page where it say Restart Dongle (please follow the instructions to manually restart the dongle)
But there are NO instructions of any sort of how you do that
I don't know if I'm ment to be logged into the Givinstaller app as I would of thought only the engineers who install the system would be able to do that as the logging says (sign in with GivEnergy SSO ?)
I'm at a complete and utter loss of what I am meant to do and how to do it

Would someone be able to explain to this computer illiterate idiot in laymans terms how I go about sorting this out as I know I'm going to have go thought it again in a couple of months when my internet provider changes

Many thanks
Rob

Robn71 I can't advise on using the installer app to reset the wifi details, but you could always change the SSID and passowrd on your new router to that of before and then the GE kit will re-connect (as it is looking for those details) - of course that would mean that all your other devices that you updated with the new wifi details would need changing again!
Or, if you change the router details to the previous details temporarily - you could try connecting to the admin page (using the IP address assigned to it) and then changing the wifi/pwd details and updating, then reset your router
