My inverter went offline on Wednesday evening but was still doing its job. Managed to access its wifi settings this morning and its back on my home network. From the app I can access it locally but when I try to access via "Away" I'm getting the offline message. Checking via givenergy.cloud also states offline.

Any thoughts on what might be going on?
Cheers

Can you access it via the cloud portal on a PC ?
If you login to your router can you see it as being attached to your network. Should be called something AF-21.
Suggest you get your router settings to always give it the same IP address. That makes reconnection easier after power cuts etc

SteveCook Hi Steve, thanks for reply.

  • givenergy.cloud portal is accessible via desktop web browser but shows my inverter as offline
  • router shows inverter as connected on my router (already has static IP)

Via app > Home (so local IP) : this works "Online ..."
Via app > Away : "Offline - Last Updated 3 days ago". Refresh give same state

Can you restart your inverter in the portal?

Turn everything off
DC strings to panel
Consumer unit breaker to inverter
Battery on/off button
Battery isolator/breaker
etc
Wait 30 seconds say until all lights go out and power drains.
Turn back on and should reboot battery and inverter.
There is a sequence for this. You may have to search
