Island Mode, critical Circuits and wiring

I’m looking at getting an electrician in to do all the wiring for Island mode, including an earth rod and 3-way switch. I’m going to ask for my garage (where my comms cabinet lives), lighting and a new emergency socket in my lounge to be wired into a new CU. I have a question I’m hoping someone may know the answer to:

How will the existing lighting and garage circuits be re-wired to the new CU, will they be simply be removed from the existing RCBOs, joined with Wago connectors and extended to the new CU?

That sounds like a question for your electrician. They will know how they are going to do it.

Don't forget that once you have had the work done your inverter will need to be recommissioned for the EPS by your GE installer.

What does commissioning entail, isn’t EPS on by default ?

EPS I think can be turned on via the remote control page part of the web portal.

Fast switching EPS I think is a request to GivEnergy or maybe the giv installer.

And as for wiring questions, no idea sorry, deffo a question for the installer.

Northwarks EPS does seem to be on by default but my electrician, GE installer and GE support said that the system had to be recommissioned when I added the EPS circuit after the system installation.
The installer did the recommission during their annoual maintenance.
This entailed instalaing all availble updates, registering that there was an EPS circuit, etc.
