Shelf above inverter

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to install a shelf above my inverter and would appreciate some advice. (It’s in the garage)
Does anyone know how much clearance I should leave between the inverter and the shelf? I'm not sure how much heat the unit generates, but I want to make sure it's safe and avoid any risk of overheating or fire.

The installation manual for a Gen3 inverter advises a minimum clearance of 300 mm above.
