From beginning of November
My batteries 2X5.2 after a timed full charger

And next day after certain hours of usage
In normal it will decrease to 80%
But it always keeping 100%

However, look inside individual batteries from apps it was normal display the correct SOC

And because of it shown 100%
So it cannot be recharged by solar.
Unless a power cycle, it will display the true SOC

Do any one have any opinion?
I logged support for over a week but zero response

I’ve had the same issue on my Gen1 hybrid recently, almost identical symptoms:

Cloud SOC stuck at 100%

Local SOC (GivTCP / battery detail page) showing correctly

Solar won’t recharge because the cloud thinks the battery is still full

Only a full AC/DC power-cycle temporarily fixes it

Then after a few days the cloud SOC freezes again

So you’re definitely not the only one seeing this since early November.

I asked my installer to speak with GivEnergy directly and the only advice that came back was basically “turn it off and on again”. They also said they can’t reset the cloud telemetry or move the system onto a different processing path.

So for now I’m just doing a power cycle when it freezes, but it does look like a cloud-side SOC/telemetry issue on Gen1 systems, not a battery problem.

Hope GE come up with a proper fix, because there seem to be a few of us running into this recently.

My system seemed to be doing a similar thing. I had timed charge to 90% during the night and next day SOC was 100% on my phone app. I changed the charge to 85% and next day when I checked the SOC was about 80% which is what I expected. I increased the timed charge to 91% and it appears to be working OK.

I'm seeing a similar problem.

Gen1 5.2kWh battery and Gen3 Hybrid

The inverter SoC as read from the GivEnergy app or HA/GivTCP shows 100% charge.

The battery SoC - as read from the GivEnergy app battery details hidden screen (or givTCP home assistant integration) - is reducing as expected due to demand and exports.

For example yesterday it was 100% inverter SoC and 30% battery SoC.

I assumed it would never recharge (as it thinks it is full) so I did a calibration which has "fixed" it for now. It's the second calibration I've done in the past week (as the issue has happened twice so far).

I've logged a ticket with my installer and a friend has posted it on a giv Facebook group for me too.

I did try rebooting the inverter but that made no difference. Next time (I hope there isn't one...) I'll try a full power down and power up of the kit instead.
