AIO Gateway comms failure

Hello everyone, I'm still fairly new to all this and only working it out. I have an 13.5kWh AIO and Gateway connected to give UPS in case of grid failure. I was away over Christmas but noticed that the App started giving me garbage dato on 26 Dec. My router can see both the AIO and the Gateway. The Gateway status is 'unknown'. In the AIO notifications, it says that there was a Gateway Communications Error on 26th Dec which has not been cleared. I have been getting Gateway Communications Error regularly since initial installation but it has always cleared eventually - except this time!
I don't understand the comms that well. Both are connected on Wifi but I believe they also have and RJ45 interconnection. At the time of installation there was a problem with an RJ45 connector (I remember it being discussed).
Could anyone point me in the direction of how to try to fix it?

Have both devices been assigned IP addresses by your Wi-Fi router? Check the router’s management page to confirm that both appear online. If one is offline, it likely indicates a Wi-Fi connectivity issue.

When my AIO + Gateway were installed, I opted for a wired connection instead, as it’s more reliable and provides longterm stability. I haven’t experienced any connection issues since September 2024.

Sorry, I dont have a gateway, but have read posts on here (I think) that there is an issue with the RJ45 port and that it does not actually work and there was a mod done at the factory which left a cable an connector inside the unit for LAN connection.

bRhFDKtjRMK9 Yes, they both have reserved addresses and the router and I can successfully ping them both.

I dont know much about Gateway.
Can you power everything off. DC strings to PV, DC breakers anywhere. Turn batteries off. MCB in consumer unit.
Let all equipment lights go out and wait say 30s and turn all back on.
Hopefully this will have drained all power from PCB boards and all will reboot.
I dont know if there is a shutdown/reboot that can just be done for the gateway

SteveCook mine is routed for UPS so the Gateway is electrically positioned between the DNO head and the CU with a Bypass. I think I'll have to power off the whole house but I can do that and send it into reboot.
