No PV production since update

Afternoon,

Has anyone else had issues with their PV production since updating their hardware?

Updated our inverter to D0.922-A0.922 firmware and batteries to 3022 firmware a few days ago and I've just realised that our PV production has flatlined since.

Weather today is fine, solar forecast was for 12-14kwh and we're generating 0. Literally nothing.

I've done a software reset of the inverter from the portal, no change. I'll try a hardware shutdown see if that helps, but any other ideas?!?!

Hardware reset did nothing. I have however found one thing, the IP rated box that houses our Tigo optimiser TAP and CCA is full of water and the kit appears to be dead (unsurprisingly).

I thought Tigo optimisers ran as set and forget, dumb devices in their own right and the TAP/CCA is just for data logging. But could their death explain the dead panels???

Argh.

Arron But could their death explain the dead panels???

Yes, I believe so - AIUI it is a safety device - if the TAP stops communicating with the optimisers, they shut down. This is different to an optimiser failing, it it does if fails "open" so power can still be produced from the panel

Tigo have confirmed it's a safety feature if comms with the TAP go down... so no I wait for replacement.

Arron odd coincidence that it should break just after a firmware upgrade.

"If there were no such thing as coincidence, there would be no such word". (Heron Carvic)

I'm going to chalk that one up to bad luck and coincidence and hopefully all will be well once we have a new TAP!
