I received a notification of "Fan Fault". I tried to contact Support and had to listen to that irritating AI telling me to turn the battery on and off again. I did this, waited 30 seconds and turned it back on. I can hear the fan kicking in and then it goes quiet. I see no error codes in the portal or the app, just a plain "Error". The battery doesnt charge or run the house. Contacting support yields nothing. I've had the battery 3 weeks. Any suggestions?

Is this Polar or HV kit? Don't think much of the Giv gear even has a fan?

I believe the fan is an integral part of the AIO2. Both the portal and the app state "Error", is there anywhere that error codes are written to?
Don't delay getting your installer back. If GivEnergy have stopped manufacturing kit and are about to go bust then replacement equipment may become difficult to source and might force a DIY repair.
Now might also be a good time go explore the third party apps available for Android and iOS or consider setting up Home Assistant.

Is the AIO2 even supported in Home Assistant?

Anyway, GivTCP works, the AIO2 appears very similar to the High Voltage inverters, i.e. with similar issue that there are two sets of inverter charge/discharge sensors, a percentage and a watts value. The watts value doesn't work, but the percentage ones do.
With some tweaks to the predbat inverter config he got predbat and givtcp working with the AIO2.

If it jas a fan. It will be removable. Check there is nothing logged in the blades from instal. A screw dropped down there, a offcut of cable.

I know, but you can use the power percent controls instead and predbat (or your own automations) should work OK
Progress on givtcp bug fixes seems to have stalled again. Not even been a dev release for months. There was a flurry of issues updated by Mark a few weeks ago but then its back to nothing visible happening (that I can see on github)
