I have been keeping a record of energy imported.
I have noticed that the GivEnergy reports are under-reporting. In just 8 days there is already a difference of 2kw. This may not seem alot but in terms of percentage its actually under-reporting by 40%. On some days it has been as high as 50%
My home monitor (£40) is more or less on par with the electricity meter, yet the battery system which costs so much more, i would be expecting it to be a lot more accurate.

So my question is, is there anyway of improving the accuracy of the reporting of the grid import?

Heilghast , there is a thread already running on this subject.

The starting point is what type of grid metering device is your GE inverter using.
It can be a simple CT wired direct back to the inverter, an EM115 meter with it's own CT along with a Modbus network connection, or a direct connected EM418 meter again with a Modbus network connection back to the inverter.

I did search for any existing topic, but that post didn't show, additionally, i have a standard meter as opposed to a smart meter.
The metering device is an EM115 meter with CT connected directly to the inverter
