We’ve started using scheduled export to dump a portion of the battery into an EV overnight recently (our Zappi is connected to a Henley block in the meter cupboard outside, upstream of the CT clamp in the consumer unit, hence export, rather than discharge).

What we’ve noticed is that although Eco Mode is enabled prior to turning export mode on, it’s disabled after the export schedule ends. Is this intended behaviour? I get that eco mode and export mode are mutually-exclusive things, but I would expect the former to prevail after the export schedule ends. Interested to hear opinions. I suppose I could work around this with the API relatively easily. Cheers.

adamdoran Yes, this happens to me. I've got a ticket in to GivEnergy about this, basically saying that if we do a timed export it should revert back to the previous setting after the event.

adamdoran I've also found out the hard way that Eco is turned off if I use the quick settings in the app to force charge the batteries.

Cdent thanks, glad to know it’s not just me. Interested to hear if GivEnergy agrees this is a bug, rather than as intended.

I asked a while back, and was told it was not something they could do just yet, didn't understand the reason tbh.
