I paused my battery to test my car charger in the day a few days ago (didn't want it discharging into the car), then unpaused afterward. But it seems that it is now not operating to schedule and is just slowly losing charge. Not powering the house at all, or taking any charge?

Any ideas on what i can do to kickstart it again?

RockIt Try a Reset to Defaults in the app or portal. There have been a few reports of people using the quick settings buttons in the app and the settings not clearing properly. To find Reset to Default in the app click the cogwheel, top right on home dashboard. On the cloud portal, select My Inverter, then Settings tab.

RockIt Check the charge and discharge rates are set to their maximum and that Eco mode is definitely on. It might also be worth looking through the remote control history log in the portal to see what the pause command actually did and then you can undo that with less need for experimentation.

Thanks both for the responses. Shortly after posting I established that when my charger was 'repaired', the hard wired network connection had started spewing all sorts of traffic at the switch that my givenergy inverter is also attached to. This seems to have resulted in communication issues. I disabled the charger port, and retried the pause and resume function, and it started working straight away.

Something else for me to look at another time!

Odd that I could still see the live usage information, but I can't see what else would have caused the issue as all has been working fine up until then...

I've had a similar thing with my LAN connected 5Kw inverter that used to go through a switch. I've had other issues that have been put down as broadcast storms with LAN and WiFi connected devices. Turned out it's was our Linksys routers causing the issue. Quick reset of the switch and routers and all was good
