My GivEnergy inverter will not transfer the energy generated by our solar panels to either the grid or our home. The solar panel strings are recognised but the inverter doesnt want to make the final connection We believe this is a software problem but have been unable to rectify it by rebooting the system, reverting to default settings etc. Can anyone help? There's nowhere else it can go - do you mean the solar panels aren't generating anything ?
What sort of system do you have? On hybrid inverter, I think there is a register setting to limit throughput, which can effectively disable solar, but a reboot wouldn't help since that would be a configuration problem rather than a software problem.
