I have a Hybrid 3.6 gen 2 inverter (in a box, downstairs), and a 9.5kWh gen 2 battery (coming soon) (and no cable yet).
I live in a terrace house with an loft conversion: no garage, no attic, and the kit can't really be placed outside.
My question is: how noisy is this kit? Can I stick it next to a bedroom? Or in a bedroom behind a bespoke cupboard? Or would you suggest I install it in a living room?
I can't afford for the wife to have disturbed sleep.

zxdavb Its pretty quiet, not silent, but pretty quiet. You get some electronic noise from it, but I would suggest if it was in a cupboard it should be ok (depends on if you're the type that wakes up if a fly farts in the room though)
My gen 1 hybrid inverter and 8.2 kWh battery are installed in the cupboard under the stairs. It gets pretty warm in there when the battery is charging, so if you do install it in a bespoke cupboard make sure you include some form of ventilation (e.g., louvre doors).
