Everything was working ok yesterday - and this morning the sun is up but the inverter on the portal is showing a yellow dot and is flashing green on the actual inverter.
The Solar arrows are lit up and the string voltages are over 260v. But no power.
I've shut the inverter down and done a reset (This solved the lack of battery information and now displays the voltage and SOC.
How can I kick it back into lifee?
Inverter has gone to sleep

anglefire you sure it's updated right last time (both battery and inverter)
Mine did all sorts of stupid stuff like this when it failed an update.
Had to pull the wifi dongle out the inverter and delete some files off it (seen a post somewhere on here with how to do it/which files). Similarly had weird things with battery USB missing but think you have that sorted if I'm remembering that right.
Yes the battery now has a USB in it.
I have tried a couple of updates but it only gets to 99% and then nothing, so I'll have a look at the dongle. Just don't want to cock that up too!
Well. The plot thickens!
Went outside to the garage (in the drizzle!) and lo and behold the inverter is now awake and some solar is being harvested. Not a lot. Like 92W but it all counts.
So I don't know what the heck is going on!

anglefire Post was: https://community.givenergy.cloud/d/92-battery-firmware-update-failed/9
I'd obviously copy all the files on the dongle to someplace safe then you can put them back if you need.
Having said all that, the battery is listed as 6.4kWh 125Ah and firmware version is 0 and is lead acid!
hoggy Actually I'd just found that before I saw it was awake again - but it clearly isn't happy so I'll pull the dongle and see what I can see.

anglefire yeah thats what mine was doing along with battery output limited to 1.6kw. Dongle fix sorted it.
Powered everything off, removed the BIN file (The txt file is the account number I believe)
Rebooted and now is reading the battery capacity correctly, the firmware 3001 and is discharging like the very devil - says its 16% but I know its nearer 4! So I assume its now doing a calibrate.
Yep in the middle of a calibrate. Will see what tomorrow brings.
Not going to attempt an update of the firmware again until I’ve been in touch with GE.
