I have a recent installation with s gen3 5kw hybrid inverter and 6kw of panels. It was installed under a G99 so I can export upto 5kw.The problem I have is the 'Grid Export Limit' slider in the settings maxes out at 4000w. Surely it should be able to go all the way to 5000w on a 5kw inverter?
My understanding is G99 limit is 3.68 kW not 5 kW

G99 is whatever limit the DNO sets.
Jason71 the Export Limitation "slider" for G99 Export Limits is an installer option not visible to the consumer.
I suggest sending GivEnergy an email and asking them to check what Export Limit has been set along with paperwork confirming your DNO export rate.
Jason71 probably check with your installer in the first instance - they have configuration-level access to your system, and presumably the G99 paperwork. Or GE support, but not sure how they'd verify the certificate.
Late night, I should of checked mine before posting - I had it other way around in my head.
Thanks for the replys. I have Emailed the installer who does not do much GivEnergy stuff and does not seem to know but he has emailed givenergy so hopefully they will be able to up the max limit

After G99 witness test by Scottish & Southern charging £360, my AIO has been forced to zero export.
I'm stuck with this until my Installer can update the G99 application to the satisfaction of the DNO Witnessing Representative.
I have the same issue 5kw inverter but my Grid Export Limit can only be set to 3680W, I have contacted via phone / email / WhatsApp and still waiting for a response for a number of days (very frustrating) as the support look to be overloaded.

you’ve double posted this, also on https://community.givenergy.cloud/d/6351-not-able-to-set-grid-export-limit-to-5000w where there’s a lot of good advice on why your limit could be set to 3680W.
