Hi
I’m having a bit of a problem
I’ve a 3.6kwh gen 1 inverter, when I set the batteries to TIMED EXPORT the ECO disables itself, meaning I then instantly draw from the grid
I’m having to do it manually, so disable the export and then enable ECO
Software version is up to date
any ideas please?

Mrfish yes, it seems to be a feature of the gen-1 inverter that eco must be turned off in order to force an export. And I think the software helpfully turns eco off when configure a timed export.

Some newer releases of the gen-1 do have newer firmware which does behave better, but I'm not sure if that's generally available.

You may need to use some external software. There are a number of options.

(Charging schedulers can also sort out exports.)

Mrfish I have AC3.0 (2022) and have same issue if I use GE's method of setting up Eco, Export, etc.
In Summer 2023, I was on Flux and I always used the 4-7pm slot to export (really good rates). But every day, I set an alarm/reminder just before 7 pm to alert me to switching Eco back on.
Some people have set up automations.

Since Jan 2024, I have been on Predbat and Agile import which does all this for me automatically. So I never use the GE method now.
