Updated software to D0.315-A0.315 last week and I've noticed that only charge slot 1 is actually functioning. I tried deleting slots 2 & 3 and re-configuring them, but no difference. Is there anything that I'm missing?

Nevans all the slots should be working, but you will need to reconfigure them after the firmware upgrade.

Check the portal, things like charge limit, times, etc are all set correctly for the slots you want to use

Having exactly the same issue. Since update it’s totally disregarded the charge limits I set and charging to 100%. Never contacted GE by chat. Can you tell me how please?

They aren't the most talkative, sure he was doing about 10 chats at the same time as there was a massive delay in responses, think the longest was 20 minutes, actually typed and asked if he was still there as it had been so long

Thank you for the reply. I’ll give it a go. They are so difficult to deal with

SeanH I've only had my sysyem since December and this was my first issue, the chat didn't really end, he just said he was going to get the files from someone, I got bored and carried on with stuff listening for a notification that never came, checked back and the chat had ended, I checked the inverter log on the portal in the evening and someone had remotely updated the inverter, it's worked fine ever since.

I'll not be in a rush to install any other updates in the future, the battery firmware appears to be letting the battery charge at a higher rate when the temperature is low. Apart from that I've not noticed anything else.

UPDATE: FIXED
Having tried deleting, and re-entering slots 2 & 3 (as stated in my original post) to no avail, I used the API interface in the web portal to interrogate the invertor. Lo and behold, slots 2 & 3 were returning 00:00 i.e. unset, despite the fact that the web portal and the IOS APP showed them as being the time slots that I had set. I used the API page to set the values and they have now stuck!

There seems to be a HUGE disconnect between where the web apps get their data from and what is actually going on in the invertor. I can only guess that the apps cache the info somewhere, but it's not being synchronised properly (or at all).
Hopefully, this forum is monitored by GiveEnergy and a fix can be made!

Good you got it sorted. Am on the inverter page on the portal. Can you point me in the direction of the API slots please

SeanH On the 'My Inverter' page, go to the three dots in the top right hand corner, select 'remote control'. Each section has a refresh symbol (circular arrow) and this will fetch the actual values from the inverter.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for all your help. I’ve refreshed everything and will see if it charges to the correct value overnight. Fingers crossed

I’m afraid it didn’t work. Had 3 chats with GiveEnergy over next 3 days. They tried to help but to no avail. It got a little frustrating but on the third chat they updated the system to DO316 and now all working perfectly again. Thanks for all your assistance and advice.

Finally sorted. Thanks for all your help. Hopefully back to smooth running now. Past 2 timed charges have been as they should be
