Summer Solar Production vs Previous Years?

Hi all! I'm wondering if my system is developing an issue. It's a 5Kw Gen 2 inverter with 4.15kwp solar in 2 strings of 5 panels each.

Over the last month or so I've looked at the daily production stats now and again and thought they were a bit low. Checking against previous year's they are so I wondered if uts just weather related and how everyone else's systems have performed this summer. For my system:

Jun 1- Aug 16 2025 - 530kwh
Jun 1- Aug 16 2024 - 681kwh
Jun 1- Aug 16 2023 - 627kwh

I wonder if a panel or optimiser has died. Both strings are still producing power when I check the portal. Considering buying Tigo's TAP & CCA kit to see what each panel is doing if everyone else is getting production numbers consistent with previous year's.

Ten 415W panels should generate about 1400kWh over the period Jun 1 to Aug 16 if pointed south(ish) and not obstructed.

How are you calculating the figures?

Rubikcube Panels are east-west and I've taken the figures from the Givenergy app. West facing panels do lose some production in the late afternoon/evening as they're shaded by a neighbour's garage.

My solar production this year April-August has been the highest for that period in the 12 years that I’ve had them.

Lincs_Will you can use pvoutput.org to compare your system with similar systems nearby.
I upload my results daily.

Lincs_Will I've taken the figures from the Givenergy app

Verify the accuracy of the information from another source (smart meter / utility bills / generation meter / GivTCP / another app) and investigate before taking any action.

Hi, also note that solar panels produce less when they get hot, so if you are getting persistent very hot weather that could affect output.

Lincs_Will What's the state of your panels? We've not had any rain for weeks & mine are covered in dust & bird poop. Needs a good downpour to clean them off or I have to get my water fed pole out & give them a clean myself.

Full marks to [unknown]

I did check I wasn't losing my mind. App says this.

GivTCP says (now I've figured out how to use it) 673KWh for 2025.

I suppose my next question is why is the app different when my understanding of GivTCP is that in asks the inverter what its produced that day? Surely the app/Givenergy cloud would/should get the same answer as GivTCP?

Slightly annoyingly I bought a TAP & CCA kit last night. Oh well, another gimmick to play with.
