Hi all,

I’m running into a frustrating issue with my GivEnergy All-in-One system and hoping someone here might have some insight.

Whenever I configure Timed Charge or Timed Export slots, the settings seem to disappear by the next day.
Example:

I set Timed Charge – Slot 1 to start at 23:30 and end at 05:30.
It saved fine initially, but when I checked the next day, it showed Start: 05:30 / End: 05:30.

I also configured Timed Export – Slot 1 for 16:30 to 18:30.
Again, it saved correctly, but now all export slots are completely blank.

I’ve tried setting these up via both the web browser interface and the iOS app, but the issue persists across both platforms.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Could this be a bug, or is there a known workaround?

I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to get these settings to stick.

Thanks in advance!

Russell

Have you authorised control of the AIO to a supplier?
I had the same problem with OVO (Kaluza). It took weeks to regain control after I went to Octopus. My settings were being over written overnight.
Check the logs, portal settings and privileges.

Hi Mike,

I don’t recall authorising control of the AIO to any supplier. Could you share a bit more detail?
I'm with Octopus Energy as well.

Within "My Invertor" and then "Remote Control" I can see settings that I have not made. Where would these be coming from?

Thanks for your help

I found mine under "Manage Account Security" under "Account Settings".
I could then revoke access. It took OVO about two weeks to let go!

rustypole Which tariff are you on? If it is Intelligent Octopus Flux then as part of that tariff Octopus control your batteries.
If you set up the new Smart Tariff card within the GivEnergy app/portal then that will also automate your charging and would override the settings. These commands were labelled "API - Inverter Settings - Automation Scheduling" for us.
The solution here would be to reset the Smart Tariff automation and stop using it.
